A quick note on giving - there are several organizations where you can give money specifically for the crisis in Haiti, two in particular are UMCOR (United Methodist Committee On Relief) and The Red Cross. The Red Cross has setup an incredibly easy and unique method: just text the word "Haiti" to 90999 and you will automatically donate $10 towards the Red Cross relief effort. The money will be charged to your cell phone bill.

This Month's Opportunity to SERVE...
This is an excellent time to show kindness to college kids! Give them transportation(fill up their gas tank?), Help them to call home(prepaid calling cards can be purchased everywhere), Give them a break from dorm food(invite them to dinner!), Hand them some fun(iTunes giftcard?)-simply smile and say, "Nothing to fill out or sign. Just wanted you to know how much God loves you!"
